Well Sonic is going back to his roots…. of being a tech demo, at least. They’re showing off assets more than anything else and gives us very little to go on… which is suspect.
Well at the very least, there’s a semblance of a BUDGET for a change, that IS refreshing! Amma knows Sonic games have been bereft of actual production values that go beyond a shoestring for 10 years straight, so that’s good.
I think Sonic used a cyan wisp to escape being engulfed by that purple wave…. shit, so that’s a concern. The game also shows these statues/towers as well, possibly being the keys to saving the world from purple demon things.
There’s not much to go on, but what they’ve shown off so far isn’t bad. I admit, I legit want to see more of what’s going on, but as always, cautious optimism is key.
